I admit that I saw the movie first, but I found the book really weird. It was well-written and profound, but it was really, REALLY weird.

I mean if you have ever been so down, or felt so desperate that you wanted to hurt yourself...not necessarily kill yourself but at least do something bad to yourself...why do you think that some people do that?
