And I don't even necessarily feel that it is "my job"
My family will help, but only when I ask, not just because they notice something needs to get done.

Khokhonut I think this has to be right up there....
In Aug. my husband had knee surgery. We live in a tri-level house so for the first 2 or 3 days he slept on the couch in the lower level (there is also a bathroom on that level) so he wouldn't have to do any stairs.

I have a job offer to think about. It is very very very good money and not something really available out where I live. It's such a great opp. for me and our family.

Whenever we go out driving a car I always make sure that I have some drinks, snacks or cookies and candies in the car. When we stuck in a traffic jam or relax driving, my husband like to munching....he'll turn a cookie and candy...

Khokhonut It depends.
If it is really a long road trip then we bring all sorts of snacks and a cooler with drinks in it.
For just ordinary trips or errands we usually don't bring anything.
One exception to that is over the summer I sometimes will bring a drink cooler...

On one of my disscusions I looked at the tags. One said "lazy parents".
Oh well I have three live children with manners and good grades (well the two school age ones).
