Krisss Sadly that is a huge issue that many workers here face, getting a family visa to enable their family to join them. It really is a lovely place to live and work, I hope your friend is successful. What kind of work does your friend do?

Krisss I live in Dubai. Unfortunately the UAE has a complicated method of determining salary. Nationality is the first issue. It is a racist issue to the extreme. The question here is more about can you live comfortably on the income offered. If the answer is yes,...

Krisss I think if it is that you always smoke in certain situations make the transition easier while at the same time clear the air in the house. You will have to fight the urge to smoke in front of the computer etc, but at least you are not fighting those nicotine...
