a.sodium salts are easily decomposed. b.sodium is produced more economically. c.potassium oxidizes more slowly in air. d.potsssium has a higher melting temperature.

Maxmewell17 I think the answer is because sodium salts are produced more economically. Sodiun being higher than Na in the electrochemical series is more reactive and more dengerous to handle.
