AD1970 I am sure it has a modem, unless it is really they are the newest ones I guess. Maybe your drive got uninstalled. Check in device manager and see whether the hardware is present or not and try to update the driver from there. Otherwise, check the Dell site...

AD1970 Though Adsense states that the blog should be functional for 6 months or so, I just said "What the heck" and tried it...My blog got accepted after only 2 weeks. I think you have to provide the information they want properly. So fill in the forms carefully...

AD1970 That is quite short. I think you need to decrease the screen brightness and turn off wi-fi and bluetooth if you are not using them. You can also dim the display (in Windows 7) after a minute or two to save up on precious battery power. My precious....
