ashamilee I have 4 younger sisters. Only one is out of school, and she doesn't work. Of the other 3, two are 14 year old twins and just entering high school this fall, the youngest will be in first grade.

i am on a diet, and drinking low fat milk and diet cola. is it okay if my kids will drink and eat the kind of foods and drink the ones i drink? i use light butter and light mayo as well. they are in their early teens already......

ashamilee There is no reason why they shouldn't eat healthier! The only thing I was going to say is kids should be drinking whole milk until they are 2 or 3 but you said you have early teens, so scratch that!

ashamilee Walk away. Make sure he is safe and go to a seperate room for some cool down. I just had to put my kids to bed early tonight because they had me batty. Granted it was only like 20 minutes.

ashamilee I like to find people who can make them, personally. If you have a livejournal, there are some great communities that have them and will make them specifically for your needs. Other than that, google is going to be your best friend.

What does a contraction feel like?

I'm almost 8 months pregnant, and sometimes I think I am having Braxton-Hicks contractions, but I can't be sure. I have never been given an example of what they feel like. Let me know what your experience was with this.

ashamilee It's hard to say because different women have different pain tolerances. The muscles in the uterus push up to the very top and then squeeze down during a contraction. I felt every little bit of that.

ashamilee I woke up in labor at 39 weeks and 5 days. I just hung around the house until my contractions were too strong to bear and then hubby drove me to the hospital. We did forget the bag though.
