Rachiel i think it is still best to keep the money in the bank. If she is wary to have all her money stolen, she can probably spread her money on 2 banks. This way, in case something happens to the first bank, there is still money left in the second one.

Rachiel I actually do that when I am going to cook the meat but from the supermarket and I know I'd be keeping it, I don't wash the meat because I am not going to use it yet and that applies to fishes as well.
