john_essex What sort of forums are you looking for? Ideally they should be related to your website, so if your website is about dogs, you really need to find a dog related forum. Many forums are now no-follow because of too many people spamming the forums.

john_essex Try shaving after you have had a shower. This gives the stubble a chance to soften from the water so that the razor can cut more cleanly. You could also try an electric shaver, or failing that you could always grow a beard :)
