kellycat Most cats hate vet visits and associate the carrier with visiting them. I leave a carrier out all the time and they can go in and out at will. They even sleep in it! This way they are used to it.

kellycat Thats pretty much typical cat behavior. My only suggestion would be to be careful with the spiders. If Libby gets ahold of a Black Widow or similar posionous spiders she can get sick or even die from the posion, just as if she were bitten.
