MysteryGuy I mostly use dropbox to transfer data between computers now that there's internet everywhere. However, I still use CDs to make LiveCDs for various linux distros, since I still have a box of about 50 lying around.

MysteryGuy It's definitely a scam. Simply delete the e-mail and ignore it. It's useless to prove them true, since they send a message like that to millions of people in hopes that they will get some money from the rare people that fall for it.

MysteryGuy Try using a mass photo resizer, which would do the job nicely to millions of pictures in seconds. I've used http://adf.ly/2FdEO many times, and it turned 2Gb of photos into 200Mb without loosing much quality.
