pam3636 Gaa, no. If I can't afford to pay cash for something (other than a house) I won't buy it. And certainlly if my employment was questionable, I would (1) be saving like mad and (2) be looking for another job. Even the rats jump ship before it sinks.

pam3636 There are places that will pay you to donate blood. It is also possible to get money for donating plasma. Look on the internet or in the yellow pages to find out. O is a good blood type to have, it is a universal donor, so it is in demand.

pam3636 I wish the show brought more of the disaster aspect into play. Maybe they will in coming seasons, but the destruction has really been underplayed. I agree though, the sidebars are a little too drama-ish for me, and are a bit blah.
