Almaster0 i suggest you save up ur money too buy some new ram. you can buy them up to 8GB which is 16 times what you have now. It is worth the buy.

Almaster0 i've only ever used mine which is a hand me down Gateway 5300. anyways it from 2001 and better then my old 95 computer. I almost hate it because i'm always comparing it too the new vista computer we have now.

Almaster0 have my first MP3 (128mb), my second MP3 (1Gb), My ipod nano(4GB), And my Ipod touch(8Gb) Thats all i have equalling up to 13.128 gb of memory.

Almaster0 get somthing like PodPlayer to transfer songs onto your computer then buy new ipod. it will cost as much as two ipods to repair yours. this happened to my sister.

Almaster0 ii suggest you go to itunes and restore it WORST CAS SENARIO: apple thought of sequrity where if ipod changes the computer it gets locked. if this is the case u need to plug it back in your friends computer and it should be fine!
