Annamcarra Yes, I enjoy fresh pumpkin. I like to gather the seeds, some I roast and some I plant. I get several pumpkins and cook the meat then freeze it for later use as in pumpkin soup, pumpkin bread, muffins, pancakes. I'll save some chunks and cook it like potatoes....

Annamcarra I live in the sub-tropics so what is cold to me is warm to others. It gets so hot that I can hardly wait for the cold of winter. Then the cold ocean air cuts right through you and I can hardly wait for the warmth of spring.
