I just registered for my first half-marathon. I have plenty of time to train as it's not until May. This is good because the weather should be nicer by then too! lol! I also just won my first first place medal in my age division!...

Today is the " Go without shoes day!" People around the world are going barefoot. Reason behind this is because it shows them how it feels for the children and adults that dont have shoes to wear feel. please join in!

My girls are on our homeschool cross country team. Go Spartans! Anyway watching them run just made me want to run too. The girls run in 2-3 5k's a month.
I have done four 5k's so far. I am about 75 lbs overweight so I walk/run...

I am excited as tonight I will run my first race in the evening. It'll be downtown Okc. I am looking forward to it. All of my other races have been in the morning. I hope to set a new pr as I have been running more at night...

Pigglies Oh that is cool! You'll have to let us know how that goes. I'm used to racing in the morning, but the mile race I want to do is a night race. I don't seem to run as fast later in the day so I'm freaking out a bit. But mine is still a month away.

Yeah, I just finished my first 5K of the season. I set a new PR only by two seconds, but it is okay with me. It was raining and cold. The first race I've run in the rain. I guess considering the weather factor it's not too bad for...

I'm am running for a while covered in thrash bags [under my normal running clothing] for sweating more and it works,but it got my thinking...Is this safe? I mean I may be sweating like a pig but does it have any negative influence...
