Sometimes I think I should move to the desert! Where I live it rains or snows frequently. And I seem to hurt more when it is damp. Is this the fibromyalia or is it arthritis? I have both and sometimes I don't know which is which....

angelkist2006 i have both fibro and arthritus and yes the barometric pressure and weather does make the pain worse, and it doesn't have to be in my area either, sometimes just close enuff, lol...i was in western texas for a year, and the dry heat did help, i just couldn't...

angelkist2006 unfortunately, every woman who gives birth is cut out to be a mother. and there are lots of women out there with no children who would be excellent moms if they did have kids. if you had such a bad childhood, would you really want your parents given the chance...

angelkist2006 i also deal with chronic pain of fibromyalgia and arthritus and thus chronic depression as well. and am in counseling to help. was on meds for depression, but quit taking them cuz i didn't like how it made me feel--too grogged out. maybe you need different...

angelkist2006 yes, doctors are allowed to be human, but their mistakes can and have resulted in tremendous pain, suffering and even death in lots of cases. when i first started having back pain, i went thru 6 different drs before the last one told me it was fibromyalgia...

They have more yarns that ever, most of them in small, expensive skeins. It would cost a fortune to make a big project out of these! Has anyone used the new yarns? What did you make? Are they hard to crochet with?

angelkist2006 i've used the eyelash or fun fur yarn for making scarves for my daughter and myself a few years back when they were all the rage. it wasn't too bad, cuz that little skein went a long way. i agree tho, it would get expensive for bigger projects. and i knitted...

My mother used to make granny square afghans with her remnants. I personnally hate making granny squares...what do you do with your remnants? Put the to use or just toss?

angelkist2006 i still can't bear to throw away my leftovers yet, have some really old little balls of yarn, lol. but i make the granny squares or just an afgan changing colors when the ball runs out. i do a lot of plastic canvas projects, too, so it gets used there also....
