I am not immune from stupid myself, but at times, I just can't understand the lack of foresight or insight.
Especially since I had been going over the same thing over and over...

The photo shows a beautiful gerbera or African daisy which is growing in the garden at our house-sit.
The gerbera originated in South Africa and was named in honour of Traugott Gerber (1710-1743), a German botanist and medical...

Wouldn't it be more cost effective to get these families living in cars and homeless places to live so that they could restart their life or is it more cost effective to revamp this playground?

Happy Monday Everyone! it's a rainy start to this week and it's very dismal day outside. Makes me feel blah.
The weekend flew by as most of them do.
My daughter spent an overnight with a few friends so I had a good portion of...

It's so frustrating to suffer water outage starting this day, Monday up to Wednesday evening. There's no memo sent by Water District. The management only announced at dawn of Monday when people were still sleeping. We only...

Every second or third day at our house-sit, we have to water the gardens. Most of it is reticulated so it’s a matter of switching valves on and off every 10 to 15 minutes. The whole process takes a bit over an hour.
To one side...

The photo shows the clock in our bedroom at the house-sit. I wrote about trying to work out when it switches from afternoon to evening to night. Now I have a new challenge.
We were awake early – just before 6am – and I put on my...

In a town close to where I live, an African young man fell in love with a young Asian Woman. It happened that the woman was a daughter to the young man's boss. The young man was a gardener to the Asian family. When he discovered...

A lot of space is given and artificial habitat is created for cheetah or leopard. The fencing and net caging is done in a way whereby the cheetah cannot jump beyond the habitat. Food is provided to these animals and they live in...

The photo has nothing to do with the post. It’s Vince sitting on a lot up the hill from our house-sit and trying to get a phone signal.
I learnt a new word today. The chief of Australia’s National Anti-Corruption Commission has...

All month long I’ve talked about how 1955 (well, the 50s in general) was filled with multiple versions of the same song. We kick off the top ten portion of the look back 70 years with yet another example of one song turning into...
