intunique Aside from the awfulness of his creating a bomb and sending it off, the world is undoubtedly better off as a result of his demise. Hopefully he didn't have any children, as he must have had some brain issues that enabled him to forget about his own dangerous...

Me and my friend had this discussion about whether or whether not she should stay together with him. He always makes her feel like trash and she often calls me crying on the phone. I told her several times to leave him, but she...

intunique I think several of the previous posters have made some excellent comments on this subject. It is often very difficult for someone (usually a woman) who is in love to break off the relationship, even when it is clear to most others that they should. The same...

Across the world, governments have been ignoring their citizens, which could have lead to the disillusioning of people to feel they can no longer influence events. However, in Britain this week the public has struck back. As many...

intunique Certainly there are thousands of better singers at each city's audition than the few strange, awful ones that make it on the air. The producers have learned that America loves to see awful singers and I believe that they purposely pick the deranged, deluded,...

UNDATED During a recent drive, a New Jersey state senator caught a glimpse of the driver in the next lane.
She was puffing on a cigarette, windows rolled up, two kids in the car, filled with thick smoke.
That did it....

intunique I have never smoked...and yet I have a hard time with this proposal. While the evidence strongly suggests that the secondhand smoke will harm the children's health, there is a line which we must be careful about crossing. If we tell smokers that they can't...

I have been a pet owner over the years ... I've had a few cats and two yellow labs in my lifetime so it's not as if I don't like cats and dogs.
But it really drives me nuts when people talk about their pets as if they're equal to...

intunique I'm not a pet person myself, but we do have 5 cats at the moment and I was raised in a home with cats and dogs. One of our cats was run over about 3 months ago (same morning that the other cat was having 4 kittens) and my kids were pretty upset about it. I...
