kqara0 I know and I will never be sure I make the correct decision to go and find a better luck for myself away from my beloved ones. It's really sad to see people alienated from their friends and families.

kqara0 Yes, new friends are helpful, but never a replacement. I have friends that I know since I was a kid, that's all my life. I really hope you'll be able to go back at the end of the year and see them!

kqara0 Yes, I have more time to read books, to roam around the city, to go hiking on my day off, etc. This doesn't make up for the need to be around people I care for, not constantly, but at least some times.

kqara0 I don't have children, so I can't even imagine how hard it must have been to live away from your son. Of course, it's always a consolation to think that your sacrifices in the present will help build a better future.
