Normally i do take care of cooking needs of the house and i cook myself and my mother in law helps me when ever i required help. how is things in your house

grumps123 we share the cooking my wife has her recipes and me mine. If we have family coming then they bring a bottle of wine, my mother in law normally makes a pudding and brings some fresh vegetables from her garden.

grumps123 Benefits should be a safety net not a feather bed. If people fall on hard times through no fault of their own, ie illhealth, redundancy, why not benefits, but no way if its a life style choice.

grumps123 Yes, chance is a fine thing. I've just retired and its great not to have to get up at set times and rush about. having the freedom to be idle and lazy is a fantastic new experience for me. Long may it continue.

grumps123 Hard to say, Julius was agreat man on par with Alexander the Great,a champion of common people, he was murdered by the nobility who feared him. all the murderers died afterwards most at the hands of the people. Brutus dies by his own hand on the battle field....

Does anyone use coffee grounds & eggshells in their garden. I've heard this is good for the plants. I don't want to waste my time if it doesn't work.

grumps123 yes I use eggshells. bake them in the oven for 20mins at 200. then braek up into very small pieces. scatter them around plants deters slugs and snails and helps aeriate the soil.

grumps123 its important to keep active, walk bend stretch, I find gardening good exercise.Suffering from angina it can get painful but I just rest and then carry on.
