margmats i think it's a question of habit... before i came to do my erasmus in Paris (i'm still here :D), i did the same, left them in the sink and washed them in the morning... but after living 5 months with 3 italian guys that left the dishes for 3 days or more...

margmats since i'm an architecture student working all day and night happens often... to stay alert i listen to music, or i go to work with other people usually it's enough... and when that doesn't work i sleep for a little while and after i continue to work...

Here in Montreal there is a case going on where a landlord is taking her tenant to court because she is a smoker. The tenant maintains that she has a right to smoke inside her own home since she is not allowed to smoke outside...
