So, I had my thumb operated on Friday. I was having trigger finger with it. I had my left thumb operated on in February of last year and the right thumb got a steroid shot last summer. I normally have my keyboard tray under my...

mentalward I'm going to keep an eye on this discussion because I'm facing the same surgery. My right thumb is almost completely useless at this point. Steroid injections only last for awhile and I've had a few already. Time to do something permanent.
I hope you heal...

So, now that we've evicted that bad, childish, brat of a roommate, I'm going to turn her room into a beading room. I have, literally, over a hundred pieces of jewelry that I have made, that I want to sell.
Now, when she moved in...

mentalward Howdy! I'm back! I hope your painting job goes smoothly with no hitches. I always run into something or other that slows me down (like bumping my behind against a freshly-painted wall or dropping the paintbrush on carpet) so it's not a chore I look forward...

Don't you just hate it when something means a great deal to you and someone tells you it's not important? It's not just annoying it is often times hurtful. Of course, being that way is a great way for people to start to avoid...

Last week, overnight temperatures were still quite close to the freezing mark overnight. I wasn't sure if I'd get to start my vegetable garden any time soon, or if it would be warm enough to start it from seed any time soon. Guess...

I'm always taking the piss out of myself in the fact that most of my discussions are a tad boring..but I've always been honest about it and continue to be so.
However, if people decide to leave because they won't get paid from...

mentalward I tried them once. No thanks! LOL I have enough trouble just keeping my cotton sheets on the bed with my dogs getting underneath them and running around whenever they get the opportunity. (It's some sort of cute little game with them, I suppose. They love...

mentalward 251,559 members today. I'm curious to see how many will be left a week from now.
I haven't been here for the money but it definitely was a good incentive to stick around. Since the earnings have dropped over the years, so has my participation. The closest...

A funny thing happened the other night. I was asleep, and Hubby got up to use the bathroom. He wandered into the bathroom, sat down on the toilet, and screamed. LOL Seems the CAT had decided to take that exact moment to jump up on...

mentalward Yep! My husband's cat does this in my bathroom all the time. He closes the door to his bathroom because he thinks it's disgusting for the cat to drink out of the toilet and maybe it is in this case because he cleans his toilet about once every six months....

mentalward I take an antihistamine. It dries things up in my nose, stopping the post nasal drip which is typically the cause of allergy-related sore throats. I only take them at night, though. I don't like taking a lot of drugs so I just grin and bear it during the day...

Saturday and Sunday R's mom took the kids shopping for things to wear for our niece's wedding. Dearra didn't want to go Saturday, because she already has a dress. Her grandmother wasn't happy because it was "black", but I told her...

mentalward I'm with Dearra. I suffered with that pain every single month until I got pregnant with my first son. The cramps stopped, magically. Of course, after the birth of my second son, they came right back.
Anyway, I know that pain. You don't want to walk around....

mentalward I've always preferred wooden, maybe because I grew up with them. Of course, I'd rather have the kind with the spring than the other, plain ones. The plain ones were the ones my mother had.
I couldn't say but I'd think the wooden ones would last a lot longer...

mentalward There's a nasal spray for allergies called Airborne or something like that. You spray it up your nose and it prevents the allergens from coming into direct contact with your mucus membranes and preventing the histamine reaction that causes the sneezing,...

mentalward That would be so cool to see! We have some pretty birds here but no parakeets, green or otherwise, unless you go to a pet store. Your story is making me want to raise birds again. But, after having to feed nine babies at once, maybe not. It's horrible when...

mentalward I got mine awhile ago. Maybe you should call Social Security and see if yours has been sent and, if so, when. Let them know you haven't received it so they could get another one out to you a.s.a.p.
One question, do you file every year even though you don't...
