mentalward I'm going to keep an eye on this discussion because I'm facing the same surgery. My right thumb is almost completely useless at this point. Steroid injections only last for awhile and I've had a few already. Time to do something permanent.

mentalward Yep! My husband's cat does this in my bathroom all the time. He closes the door to his bathroom because he thinks it's disgusting for the cat to drink out of the toilet and maybe it is in this case because he cleans his toilet about once every six months....

mentalward I take an antihistamine. It dries things up in my nose, stopping the post nasal drip which is typically the cause of allergy-related sore throats. I only take them at night, though. I don't like taking a lot of drugs so I just grin and bear it during the day...

mentalward I'm with Dearra. I suffered with that pain every single month until I got pregnant with my first son. The cramps stopped, magically. Of course, after the birth of my second son, they came right back.

mentalward I've always preferred wooden, maybe because I grew up with them. Of course, I'd rather have the kind with the spring than the other, plain ones. The plain ones were the ones my mother had.
