Has the literacy rate really jumped up?

A few years ago our country's literacy rate was around 60% i guess.Now in a recent general knowledge book it says 78%.Is that the correct figure?If yes then i guess our literacy rate will be 100% by 2020!

jterrock It wouldn't be a bad idea at all to legalize euthanasia for humans. I believe it should be up to the person or the family. If the person who is terminally ill wants to go to rest, then he or she should be able to. Thanks for the post!
