My left eye began bothering me this week, and yesterday, it was severe enough for me to remove my contacts. I figured I'd give my eyes a rest for a day or so, but the left one was still red and irritated this morning.
I've been...

Woke up to a dream of reconnecting with a former lover for the second time in a week. Ed and I broke up in early October 2010. I moved away, thinking I had met someone to love, but I'm having doubts.
A few nights ago, I dreamed...

It just seems to get worse and worse every year. I have bad hay fever, but since I don't have a news station that shares the pollen count anymore, I don't know what triggers it.
I know fresh cut grass forces me back inside, but...

AnnieOakley1 Very simple, get rid of the dog and the carpets, down to the tile or hardwood, and they can be easily mopped. It will get rid of many dust and allergens as carpets hold them and it is almost impossible to remove urine from a dog smelling it in a carpet, so...

The government doesn't tell us everything. The mainstread media doesn't report everything. Sometimes we are told part truths, or truths with a certain spin on them, downplayed, exaggerated, or out and out lies.
I do a lot of...

AnnieOakley1 I agree with what you have said wholeheartedly! The mainstream news media are now bought and owned by the gov't that decides what is and what isn't the 'truth'. I find that Huffpost is very accurate, amongst a few others.
Cannabis Prohibition is the most...

Saturday and Sunday R's mom took the kids shopping for things to wear for our niece's wedding. Dearra didn't want to go Saturday, because she already has a dress. Her grandmother wasn't happy because it was "black", but I told her...

AnnieOakley1 My period cramps started when I was 11 yrs old, and they were so bad they were like labour pains. The least she could have done was to offer her some Tylenol or Ibuprofen (whichever works for her) for the pain, since that is pretty much all you can do for it....

I grew up on a farm before there was electricity and everything was done by hand, even milking the cows. Milking time was 6am, and 6 pm, and everyone helped. We all had cows (we called them our cows) that we milked. To milk a cow...

AnnieOakley1 Nope, I never had to milk a cow by hand....yet....but I may still do so, since I have been reading that they are planning on putting Aspartame into the milk without labeling it. If that happens, I WILL just buy my own cow and will be milking it myself for our...

My boyfriend works overnights. He likes it if I lay next to him while he falls asleep; most of the time, it doesn't bother me. Sometimes I even laydown and take a nap with him for an hour or so. But about three years ago, he...

AnnieOakley1 Your b/f has (without realizing it) caused this problem by allowing the dog in his bed. The dog sees you as encroaching on his territory now. The dog CANNOT be allowed in the bed, or even the bedroom, unless he is on the floor......NO BED. This should solve...

I love my boyfriend Jim. When we met, he was separated from his wife. I wasn't sure about dating him, but he showed me the divorce paperwork. That was in December 2010; she had left in mid-April and filed that July.
This woman...

AnnieOakley1 I don't know how yours works, but here in Canada, if you make a LEFT TURN you are ALWAYS at fault right off the bat. But with "no-fault insurance" here now, they often do negotiate between the insurance companies for some fault for the innocent one. Because in...

AnnieOakley1 Yes, I understand not wanting to 'rock the boat' and be the one to be left at home alone. I would still be hurt by their reaction in 'dumping' you, too, though. Basically, I would make the decision based on the activity planned. If you think you would enjoy...
