I think most of us, humans, have our relationship to Mother Earth all wrong, or at least we live our lives like that. We feel that the earth exists for human pleasure and use. The truth of the matter is Mother Earth is the host...

DoriLentrich You should do what's right for you. As a widow, you are no longer obligated to wear your wedding ring. If you wished, you could pursue other relationships and possibly even remarry. Your ring is a symbol and it's meaning is only relevant to you. There are...

Now that Disney has announced that there will be no more Princess movies, which one is your favorite and why? Mine was Belle for the longest time. I loved how she liked to read and was a truly caring person. Now, though, I adore...

You know, 'the first girl to have the kids with, the second one to grow old with'? Then life would work out just like Walk the Line (Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash, who first marries Vivian--played by Ginnifer...

DoriLentrich Your plan sounds great if you don't mind constant back-biting, sniping and custody battles. For the parents this might sound like a terrific plan, but what about the kids? They'll have to be shuttled off from parent to parent, meanwhile they'll deal with...

I think to an extent they were, but not to the extent that they are today. It is just a byproduct of a changing world. People are struggling and a lot of them are dealing with struggles in a way that might not be the best....

DoriLentrich It depends on the their relationship with their biological father. I would recommend they be adopted by the new husband for legal reasons, but that doesn't necessitate a name change.
A surname is a big deal and shouldn't be thrown out lightly. In the end,...

This question just popped into my head when I was watching a news story about the Japan earthquake. Really, why do earthquakes have no proper names? Or volcanic eruptions? They just state the place and year of the incident....

I love reading, every evening, once I have finished my daily tasks, I sit in my room and read, an hour at least, althought time is not a barrier, once I sit to read, time just vanishes, but a close friend told me that she likes to...

DoriLentrich It is possible to read more than one book at a time. It's not my preferred method of reading, but I've done it. Some people like the switching back and forth in plot lines. I prefer to go through it. I think you're right, it's more difficult to follow what's...
