The stores now have some of the Easter Candy out on their shelves.
There is one that I find absolutely irresistible and it only comes out this time each year.
It's in the photo attached, taken by me, of Hershey's candy-coated...

We stayed with my brother-in-law the other day and had our morning coffee under the patio. He has a large block which has a lot of vegetation including many native species. This is the ideal environment for the Australian...

When we were first married, just about everything we had was second-hand or hand-me-downs. Even my maternity dresses were given to me by a friend. I think I made myself maybe one or two new ones.
We were given a cane pram like...

I wrote recently about a saying I hadn’t heard before. Our German friend used it. Translated from her native language, it was ‘making an elephant out of a mouse’.
Tonight, she used another one she’d translated and that we hadn’t...

Do you think there are people from space living among us. I think there could be. They look like us. They act like us. They live among us.
Who is to say that they are not here. By now they could be us. They have been here...

Its been a bit since I've done one of these. Which is funny because I have pictures of the last several nights of food.
But anyway, I figured I would throw this out there. It wasn't an exciting dinner, but both kids had medical...

The photo shows a pillar/post box which was in the Collie Museum. Unfortunately, I can’t read the sign so I don’t know how old it is but the town was gazetted in 1897.
This is a handsome-looking post box with the details picked...

As you can see from the screenshot from my phone, it's currently only in the single digits here, 8F degrees but feels like negative 1F degrees.
That's really, really cold.
The expected high today is only going to be 21F degrees....

I'm up super early today! My hubby couldn't sleep and got up around 2 am. He came back to bed at 5:30 and that woke me up. I tried to go back to sleep, but at 7:30 decided to get up!
I'm enjoying my brew (coffee) and hitting...

Today’s photo from the Collie Museum is of a phonograph with two horns. The original phonograph was invented by Thomas Edison in 1877 and dual horn type began appearing in the late 1890s to early 1900s.
