In this house there is a remote...

We have a rotary washing line outside. It was here when we bought the house and I think it must have been here almost 20 years before that because it’s concreted into the patio that the previous owners created when they revamped...

I have a lot of things I inherited from my mother, and many of those she inherited from her parents. Every now and then I will attempt to sort through a few of them but it all takes so much time!
Here is one thing I would like to...

This exquisite dolls’ house was in the Collie Museum that we visited recently. Isn’t it lovely? The ‘doors’ that have been opened to reveal the inside have windows with lace curtains. Everything is so tiny.
I have a friend who...

My mom and I take a tai chi (Chinese form of exercise) class for seniors. I would think that adults who take an exercise class do so because they actually want to workout their bodies.
There is Karl - an older man we met who...

I’m sorry I didn’t let my myLot friends know that I’d be missing for a few days. We took our new (to us) motor-home away for two nights to get used to it and to get any bugs ironed out, which means fix any small problems.
We...

I grabbed a red bell pepper to prepare to cook. It was odd that something was rattling inside of it .
When I cut it open, this cute, little "heart" came out ! I felt the love...

I had a shock of my life when I was told that my mum's insurance coverage would cost $12k. It was way more expensive than the 10k insurance coverage of my dad's. So on total, we would need to pay almost 8k each for each kids....

We went shopping today and picked up some bread. Vince likes the 9-Grain loaf but often there is none in the shop or only a couple of loaves.

She has blonde hair (rare in the Bay Area, unless it's fake), and said hair is always messy. She is taking piano with me. She is 7-years-old and in first or second grade.
She can barely read music but we're already working on...

Last year, my mom was agreeable to taking senior tai chi classes (if I take them with her). Benefits would include having a routine for health, but I also thought it would be good for her sociability.
