I learned today that a friend is about to turn 59. I think it's 59. At my age, it doesn't pay to trust my memory and that got me thinking that getting older really sucks. But then, "lightbulb over head goes on". There are actually...

youngsweetheart I have chronic pain in my left leg, which would make me a whiny pain in the patootie to anyone unlucky enough to kidnap me. And going up stairs leaves me a tad winded.
And I'm only 24. Yeah, aging is going to be LOTS of fun for me!
I hope no one ever...

youngsweetheart My daughter started kindergarten last fall. Her school supplies cost us less than 20 dollars, and she's had one field trip (to see Charlotte's Web live) which cost 8 dollars. There are fundraisers, but I am not obligated to buy anything, and there are the fun...

First of all let me just say that I can only take a shower when my husband is home because my two year old is so wild she would burn the house down if she wasn't watched at all times. So, I have to get a shower in a limited amount...

I was having a facial yesterday and my dermatologist told me that it is very necessary to use a sunblock to avoid premature aging and skin damages. Even before I always use sunblock and it really works. How about you, is sunblock...

youngsweetheart I wasn't sick when I was pregnant with my daughter, but I couldn't drink Pepsi anymore - it tasted funny, even before I knew I was pregnant. I did crave McDonald's fries, though. I had to have two supersize (back when they still had them) fries a week. Covered...

Is anyone still friends with their best friends from school? If not, do you wish you were? If you are, are you just as great of friends as when you were in school?

youngsweetheart I keep in touch with a lot of my friends from high school, but our lives took different paths, so it's hard to stay close. I got married and started a family right away; most of my friends did not. My husband is in the military, so we moved away; most of my...

What was your all time favorite book by Nora Roberts or can you not choose from them all?
I have read over 10 books by her for sure, not exact sure of the count but so far I love the book "Birthright" by her, actually I end up...

Birth, Marriage and Death are the most important chapter of everybody's life. Your birth date is fixed and you have no power to change it. Similarly the day you will die cannot be changed. You can only change your marriage...

youngsweetheart The right age to marry will vary from person to person.
In the US, legally, most states require both the male and female be at least 18 years old to get married. Some states will let younger people get married if they have parental consent.
I was married...

I don't approve of this for very young children. This is because I feel, it's too early for them. Most of us adults know the "addictive" effect of the internet in our daily lives. We spend less and less time to read, to interact...

youngsweetheart I have two kids, six and four. Both use the computer at least once a week, sometimes more. The only time they are on the internet is when they are using their Webkinz, and I am close by - not that they understand how to do anything besides play the games on...

Do you file it paper form yourself? Do you hire someone you know who is certified? Do you use the free file online?
And while we are at it...why are some people...

Do you think that you can learn properly?
Do you think that someone can...

youngsweetheart I think, academically, there is nothing wrong with home-schooling - provided the teacher is qualified, of course. In many cases, it's better, because, as someone above mentioned, students receive more one-on-one attention and lessons can be personalized to fit...

youngsweetheart I was pleased with how his departure was handled, although I was certainly sad to see him go.
The best line was when - Hodges, I think? - said "The bad guys will win more if we don't have you." It was well delivered, and funny, and probably true.
And HUGE...

youngsweetheart That's an amazing story.
I have two children. I got pregnant with my daughter when I was 17. When her father and I got married, I was 3 centimeters dilated - my grandmother said she was bringing tongs to the wedding just in case. Nearly a month later, after a...
